Trustee of Lake Baikal Foundation Ivan Zyuzin spoke at “Summer School”

On July 30, 2018, Ivan Zyuzin, Lake Baikal Foundation Trustee, gave a speech at the “Summer School” socio-educational event which took place in Dubna (Moscow region). In one of School’s workshops, The Good Deeds Workshop (in Russian) he told the audience about how charitable organizations work in Russia, how their strategies are determined and budgets are formed. He also spoke about the Foundation’s projects, its scientific, educational and environmental initiatives, such as ongoing “On a Trail With a Backpack”, “Baikal Initiative” and forthcoming program for saving Baikal seal.
Ivan Zyuzin emphasized the importance of charity and non-profitable activities, including “Summer School”. This multidisciplinary event is organised every year by volunteers and the lecturers are involved on pro bono basis.
The Lake Baikal Foundation for Environmental Applications and Research pursues charitable and research objectives aimed at preserving the Lake Baikal natural territory and promoting its sustainable development. Join us!
