The Lake Baikal Foundation’s will present its experience during the largest international economic forum in St. Petersburg.
The Lake Baikal Foundation will be a co-organizer of the session «Lake Baikal. Center of the environmental initiatives attraction» to be held on May 24 from 10:00 to 10:40 in the Laboratory of NPOs at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.
Within the framework of the session, the Lake Baikal Foundation CEO Anastasia Tsvetkova will present the Foundation’s research projects, namely the grant competition for young scientists «Baikal Initiative» and the project of long-term monitoring «Point No.1». Stepan Solzhenitsyn, a member of the Lake Baikal Foundation Board of Trustees will also take part in the discussion. He will share his opinion on why it is worth supporting environmental projects and initiatives, and how environmental funds justify the confidence of private donors.
The session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be a continuation of the Foundation’s work in the framework of the social platform of Roskongress, which was launched at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi in February 2018.
