The film is being watched at educational institutions all around the country. It tells a story about tourist Zhenya’s fascinating and eco-friendly trip to the Baikal natural area. Film was created by Lake Baikal Foundation and Method Production in 2020.
112,000 of preschool children, pupils from comprehensive and boarding schools, as well as college students and visitors of supplementary education centres found out, how to better prepare for the trip to the natural areas and what common rules need to be followed during a trip or an expedition. Almost 80% among viewers are children of 8-18 years old, whereas 20% – preschool children.
The geography of views is broad: the film has been showed in 44 Russian regions: from Arkhangelsk region to Krasnodar region. Educational institutions in Tambov, Sverdlovsk and Kemerovo regions participated the most actively.
Lake Baikal Foundation especially appreciates feedback from teachers, educators and parents. They mention that film is exciting, insightful and managed to keep children’s keen interest. The adults themselves also found out a lot new and useful about careful attitude to the environment, specially protected natural areas and ecotourism.
