The Expert Council of «Baikal Initiative» 2018 started evaluation

The Expert Council «Baikal Initiative» contest started to evaluate the projects submitted. The evaluation technique can be downloaded here. According to the rules of the contest, the Expert Council will define three first finalists by September, 1, 2018. During the second round of the contest those applicants who managed to prove their projects’ relevance will be looking for 20% of co-funding.

Egor Bykovskiy, editor-in-chief of «TASS. Cherdak» web-portal
Endon Garmaev, the chairman of Scientific Council, Doctor of Geology, the head of Baikal Institute of Nature Management Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of sciences (BINM SB RAS)
Dmitry Glazov, leading engineer in the Institute of Ecology and Evolution RAS, deputy chairman of the Council for Sea Mammals
Vladimir Ilyinskiy, Doctor of Biology, professor, acting head of Department of Hydrobiology at Biological faculty of MSU
Darima Maxarova, dean of the Faculty of biology, geography and land-use at BSU, Doctor of Biology, senior lecturer
Vyacheslav Mantatov, Doctor of Physics, academician at RAEN and REA, the head of Sustainable Development Institute, the head of Scientific school of sustainable development and eco-ethics at East Siberia State University of Technology and Management
Michael Ovdin, the head of the reserve «Zapovednoye Podlemorie»
Victor Plusnin, scientific adviser of V.B. Sochawa Institute of Geography SB RAS
Liliana Proskuryakova, leading fellow researcher at Higher School of Economics
Olga Solomina, director of Institute of Geography of RAS, corresponding member of RAS, Doctor of Geography
Anna Surkova, the CEO of info-portal Irk.ru
Vasiliy Sutula, director of Baikal State Reserve
Maxim Timofeev, director of Research Institute of Biology, Doctor of Biology, official representative of Lake Baikal Foundation in Baikal natural area
