Many people know that a lot of efforts are concentrated around Baikal, primarily of civil society, scientific-research and non-profit organizations, focused on investigation and conservation of water, biological diversity, ecotourism development, responsible waste management and other important tasks. How NGOs communicate with the government and business? Why do they set large-scale objectives for the sustainable development of Baikal natural territory and reach them during realization of their programmes? Who do the professionals of non-profit sector work with?
These and other issues will be covered by Anastasia Tsvetkova on the example of Lake Baikal Foundation.
Maria Solovyeva will share many interesting facts about the importance of sea mammals in world’s ecosystems, paying particular attention to the Baikal seal – endemic and the leader of food chain of Lake Baikal.
We would be happy to see, even remotely, everybody: friends, colleagues, those who support us and also people that are interested in ecological NGOs and biodiversity conservation of our planet!
