The Foundation will be the scientific editor of the children’s book «Baikal», which is being prepared for publication by «Samokat». The subject of the book is a trip around the Baikal: from Irkutsk through Listvyanka, the Olkhon Island, Barguzin, the Selenga delta and other places up to the Circum-Baikal railroad. The book will tell not only well-known facts, but about many other things which make the Baikal truly unique. Future travelers can get tips as a bonus.
«In this case pro bono support is given not only to the Foundation, but our team itself helps in such a large-scale project as creation of the book! We appreciate the opportunity and are incredibly excited that readers will soon be introduced to Baikal through a publication with wonderful illustrations by Anna and Varvara Kendel» – says Ekaterina Terenteva, the Project Director of the Foundation.
The book will be published in Russian. Follow the news about where to buy it on the website of the publishing house.
