She has more than ten years of experience in analytical, legislative and managerial activities in the field of sustainable development.

Anastasia has competencies in stakeholder engagement in the environmental sphere, in building a dialogue between civil society institutions and the state.

She has created and supervised projects in the field of environmental protection, which have been recognised by the expert community at the national and international levels: the head of 5 winning projects of the Presidential Grants Fund competition in the nomination “Environmental Protection and Animal Welfare” (one of them, dedicated to the study and conservation of the Baikal seal, was included in the Top 100 best projects of the Presidential Grants Fund according to the results of implementation), the head of two winning projects of the V.I. Vernadsky National Ecological Award (on ecological image of the Baikal seal), the head of two winning projects of the V.I. Vernadsky National Ecological Award (on ecological image of the Baikal seal).

Over 8 years of work, Lake Baikal Foundation has become one of the Top 10 environmental fundraising NGOs in Russia, as well as one of the Top 10 NGOs in Russia in terms of transparency (RAEX 2024 rating).

The expertise of Lake Baikal Foundation in the interests of the country has been integrated at the international level: the organisation is the only Russian member of the World Water Council, an accredited member and active participant of UNEP, the only Russian partner of the Water Pavilion at the annual Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Anastasia is a member of the Expert Council on Sustainable Development under the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, a member of the Water Resources section of the Scientific and Technical Council of Rosprirodnadzor, an invited expert of the NGO Lab of the Roscongress Foundation, an invited participant of the Sustainable Development Summit in New York on the initiative of the World Economic Forum, and a participant of EU workshops on sustainable development.

Conducts trainings on interaction with authorities in the sphere of sustainable development, on development of effective communications in the sphere of ecology (for example, Arkhyz-XXI Forum, Ladoga Youth Forum and other private programmes for business).

Guest lecturer at MGIMO and RANEPA. Author of courses on corporate social responsibility and water resources management for undergraduate management programmes at Russian universities. Supervisor of the ESG professional development programme at the MGIMO Business School.

Certified specialist in non-financial reporting according to GRI standard.

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in International Relations from St. Petersburg State University; internships at The Hague University (Netherlands) and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland); advanced training at MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in the programme “GR and lobbying activities in business and NGOs”, at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO in the programmes “Leaders of Social Change (NGO Management Programme)” and “Sustainable Development: Systemic Approach and the Role of Future Leaders”.
