Olga Amelkina

Deputy CEO. She has over 4 years of experience in managing environmental projects, mostly in Baikal region. She managed the winning projects of the competition of the Presidential Grants Fund in the direction of Environmental protection and Animal welfare, projects awarded with the “Change Management. Visionaries”. She is a head of a student field study course Water Management and Conservation of Lake Baikal in Irkutsk region. Lecturer of the courses Water Resources Management and Leadership, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

She holds a Master of Science degree from Uppsala University (Sweden) in Sustainable Development, a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Jurisprudence from Omsk State University. Additionally, she took courses in Economics, Management and Social Entrepreneurship (OmSU), Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Project Management in the field of sustainable development (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), as well as advanced training course GR and Lobbying in Business and NGOs (MGIMO).

She completed several internships abroad: a one-year internship in waste management at the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) and at the Shenandoah National Park – in the management of natural protected areas (Virginia, USA).

She took part in many all-Russian forums and international youth meetings in sustainable development as a speaker and as a participant (All-Russian Water Congress, Strong ideas for the new time, BRICS youth camp, Eurasia Global, ReGeneration 2030, We are the future).
