A soloist of the Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia. She made her debut on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater in the part: Sirin («The Tale of the Kitezh City» by Rimsky-Korsakov), The Snow Maiden (in the self-titled opera by Rimsky-Korsakov). She takes part in the concert activity of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia led by V. Spivakov. She is a touring singer in such countries as Germany, Belgium, France, Hungary, England, Spain, USA. Among the future engagements: «Golden Cockerel» (La Monnaie Bruceel, Teatro Real Madrid, Opera Santa Fe), «Lucia di Lammermoor» (Opernhaus Zurich). Venera is a laureate of the Golden Mask Award for Best Actress in the performance Golden Cockerel (2014), laureate of the Russian Federation President Prize for Young People of Culture (2011).

Venera Gimadieva was born in Kazan. She graduated from the Musical College named after Aukhadeev in the class of choral conducting. In 2004 she entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov for the Vocal faculty, where she studied in the class of Professor S.V. Gorenkova. She took part in international competitions, among them the Young Opera Singers’ Competition named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (St. Petersburg, 2008, III Prize and Audience Choice Award), Competition of Opera Singers «Competizione dell’Opera» (Dresden, 2009, diploma), Competition named after F.I. Shalyapin (Ples, 2010, I prize), Paris Opera Competition (Paris, 2015, II Prize).

In October 2016, in Germany, Venera had a joint performance with the legendary Spanish tenor Jose Carreras, in his last tour «Life in Music».

Early in 2008 she became a soloist in opera theatre «Saint-Petersburg Opera», where made her debut in premiere play of Y. Alexandrov as Lucia («Lucia de Lammermur»). In her repertoire she has the following parties: Lucia («Lucia di Lammermoor» Donizetti), Gilda («Rigoletto» Verdi), Lucia («The Rape of Lucretia» Britten), The Snow-Maiden («The Snow-Maiden» Rimsky-Korsakov), Marfa («The Zar’s Bride»), The Queen of Shemakha («The Golden Cockerel»), Violetta («La traviata» Verdi), Amina («La somnambula» Bellini), Juliette («Roméo et Juliette»), Giulietta («I Capuletti e I Montecchi»), Norina («Don Pasquale»), Elvira («I puritani»), air in «Requiem» by W. Mozart and in «Requiem» by L. Webber. She took part in opening ceremony of E. Mironov’s Theatre of Nations. Venera sang at the Festival «Kazan Autumn» directed by A. Sladkovsky, in duet with Roberto Alagna (2012). In August 2013 she debuted in London – in annual concert Prom BBC in Royal Albert Hall. In 2013 she debuted at Opera Festival in Savonlinna as Violetta («La traviata» Verdi).

In 2014 she debuted at Glyndebourne Festival Opera (England) in a new version of «La traviata», Opera Bastille (Paris) as Violetta («La traviata»), Lima (Peru), Juliette («Roméo et Juliette») in duet with Juan Diego Florez. In 2015 Venera Gimadieva debuted at the stage of Royal Opera House (Covent Garden) as Violetta («La traviata»).
